A few new things happening right now. One, I think this is my first thing from Boohoo. I saw it on their site and had to have it. And then also had to grab this matchy set for my Miami trip tomorrow. It just screamed South Beach right? It’s kind of the epitome of things to wear in Miami. Palm print, tube top, crop top. Done! One piece of clothing I lack (yes it’s possible) are good coverups. I picked up this one as well and now finally own 3 coverups! I’ve also rounded up a few other things to wear in Miami below. Another new thing I’m trying is not blogging. Just kidding. Not blogging while I’m out of town. Let me explain.
While at #TBScon a few weeks ago I sat in on Lindsay Humes SEO workshop. One thing she suggested doing was not posting as often. I’ve been blogging for 6 years and pretty much posting 5 times a week every single week. I notice when I travel though, I almost forget what I’ve posted and don’t get to experience the content along with my readers. I enjoy sharing the content when it happens and responding to comments and questions. When I’m away, it’s like I forget what the hell is on the blog! Then it seems silly when I am in a different country or city and posting some random outfit from the blog. For me, it feels weird posting it. I don’t mind when others do it though, but I hate worrying about!
For this trip I’m going to try to take Monday and Tuesday off from the blog. Instead you can catch the fun on Instagram and Stories. Since we also don’t have a ton of blog duties on this trip either, it’s going to truly feel more like a vacation. So I’m going to try to do that vacation thing, where you don’t work. Wish me luck.
