I hit a wall with pandemic outfits a few weeks back. I have been just getting by in my usual leggings and a tee, or sweatshorts and a tee. And honestly, I could just cry I’m so sick of it all. I feel like a mess, I’m not motivated, and I needed an overhaul. On my little shopping spree, I set out to get things that I could easily mix and match. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and I wanted to maximize my outfits. This tie-dye lounge set for example is great together, but also as separates. I paired it here also with just a boxy tee to make it feel more like an outfit. And if I’m heading to the store, add a denim jacket, and it’s a complete look.
Plus, the other day I had an actual outing in the real world so I paired this sweatshirt with jeans and my platform Converse for a cool casual look. I don’t know how much longer we’ll be at this whole working from home forever, but I definitely don’t want to waste my money on things that won’t transition once we’re on the other side of this thing. And this set is I think, perfect for that. I’ll wear this to bed, I’ll wear it out for a super casual look, and break it up into pieces.
