Come spring and summer, a hat is one of my most favorite accessories. I always bring them to the pool with me to keep the sun off my face when I want to read my book. Or I use one to keep me from getting too hot (dark hair problems).

The TopTote Hat Clip is the answer to all your hat-wearing issues. It was designed by Lindsay Albanese (who by the way is a super fun follow on Instagram). She invented this little gadget to make toting your hat hassle-free.
Anyone who is a hat person knows the struggle. You want to travel with your hat, but carrying your hat around the airport or while at your destination is annoying. You want to wear it to the beach, but what if you want to take it off and don’t want it to blow away?
The TopTote is a hat holder that allows your hat to be hands-free AND secure when it’s not on your head. How? It’s a little accessory, about the size of a luggage tag, that clips onto your bag strap and has a high-powered magnet closure to secure your hat from the brim. Then your hat just hangs off your bag.
It works on your favorite tote bag, your beach bag and even a more thick handle on a weekend travel bag or suitcase. I’ve yet to find a bag this doesn’t work on.

My Honest Review Of The TopTote Hat Clip
I remember when I first got the TopTote designed by the genius herself, Lindsay Albanese. She is friends with a blogger I know who turned me on to this product years ago. I thought, well that’s cool, but did I really need it?
It was one of those things that you don’t realize is life-changing and so worth it until you have it. I can’t imagine ever being without my TopTote. I bring it on every vacation and it is always clipped to my beach bag for summer.
Every time I whip it out to secure my hat with, someone always comments on it. Oh that’s genius! Wait, that’s so smart! I KNOW! It really is! It makes wearing a hat so much easier. Take it off when you don’t want to wear it and not stress about it.
It’s always such a pain to either be committed to wearing your hat all day long, or having to hold the stupid thing. I am never without my TopTote if I’m wearing a hat. Period.
Plus, they have a super super strong magnet. I personally have yet to find a hat of mine that doesn’t work with it. It can really hold most hats depending on brim thickness.
I assume if you have a super-duper thick felt hat maybe it won’t work as well. But it holds all of mine with no issues.
So trust me when I tell you, if you’re a hat wearer at all, you need this neat little invention in your life. Also makes a great gift for the hat lover. This could also make for a cute gift on a Bachelorette trip where everyone will have sun hats. A must if you ask me!
