It’s hard to believe that next week is already September. I’m sad to see summer go, but there’s a part of me that’s totally fine with less sweating and more layers. Let’s hear it for the fall clothes, am I right? Atlanta gets a very long and warm fall which is a plus in my book. The light layers and pairing booties with skirts and dresses is a personal favorite. So when Vince Camuto asked me to style a few new fall arrivals, I knew I wanted to share with you all how I transition dresses for fall.
Swapping out your favorite wedges and sandals for booties is really the easiest way to take your favorite dresses from summer to fall. It’s perfect for that in between weather where you’re not sure what to really wear. It’s warm, but it’s cool at night, what does one put on? Add a light layer like a leather jacket, or cardigan and you’ve got my favorite combination for pre-fall outfits. I loved putting these Vince Camuto Finchie booties with my black leather jacket. The tan leather lattice bag breaks up all the dark hues (but also comes in black if you want to go all black!).
For even more pre-fall outfit ideas with these fun black booties, I’ll be pairing them with shorts and a silk button down. It’s another great way to dress for the weather and start breaking in those fall purchases. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing these booties a lot on the blog.
