It’s surprising, but Cathy and I rarely get together. With us being business partners and best friends, it’s kind of weird we live in different states. Because of that, we like to make sure we take trips together every so often. Call them work trips, inspiration trips, or just plain vacation, but we usually get quite a bit done, come up with great ideas and really come back with a clearer head for our business. We ended up coming up with some great ideas actually at our last dinner in Miami that I’m excited to move forward with for Southern Blog Society. I think it’s safe to say our trip to Loews Miami was a big success (and we’re more tan! win win).
The one thing we always try to do while in the same city is get photos of us together. You’d think as bloggers and business partners, we’d have more photos of us together but we don’t. And this is something we recently realized too. Sometimes we need photos for SBS, any stories people want to write on us etc. But nope, none. We met with a photographer in Charleston to do this a few months ago and we’re excited that she’ll be shooting #SBScon this weekend. But while in Miami, we wanted to get even more fun photos together but had no clue where to turn. In comes Flytographer.
Flytographer is a genius service that connects travelers with photographers to help capture their candid moments. It’s a great way to grab great photos while exploring a new city. As bloggers, we should all be all over this. It was great to have a professional photographer on hand to snap our looks, get some great content and finally get some more great photos of Cathy and I together. The process is super easy to book your photographer. Share your location, and the photographer who lives in that city and knows all the best spots, will recommend a route for you to have fun with and capture the moments. Big thanks to Flytographer for helping us with capturing some great photos.
