I picked up this tropical dress weeks ago (feels like months!) during one of my Express shopping hauls. Hey, it happens, and often. I’ve been dying to wear it, not sure if I would wear it, but still had it in the front of my closet hoping I’d find the right day for it. I thought I’d only rock this number for a night on the town, but adding a denim jacket and nude sandals was actually a great way to dress it down perfect for running errands and lunch. I think I’ll be applying this method to a few other dresses in my closet to get the most use out of my more dressy pieces as possible.
On a side note, I’m on a tropical and palm print mission as of late. Even picked this up over the weekend! This print is so fun for summer that it instantly puts me in a good mood.
