I’m officially back from Hawaii and already missing warm weather and palm trees. But I have to say, it’s nice to be back in my own bed and be reunited with Pork. It’s back to the grind because I leave next week for New York City for a quick work trip. Then my parents are coming up for the weekend to go to a wedding and visit family. What was a year of no travel as of New Years Eve is beginning to pick up and look a lot like 2017’s insane travel itinerary.
Now onto today’s look because this may be one of my favorite casual outfits I’ve worn in a while. While in Vermont, I brought back out my bandana, neck scarf, whatever you want to call it. It had been a while since I’d worn my navy one, but I picked up this silky red one on sale a week before the trip. I also have a navy one, but fun fact, my neck is too fat and I can’t get it to wrap around like I can this red one. I suppose that means it’s time to stop eating shit? Maybe. But I think wrapping a thin bandana around your neck twice is the new way I like to wear this trend. You can see 5 other fun ways to wear the neck scarf trend (that doesn’t include around your neck) right here. There’s also a few fun ways to add this scarf to your hair too!
PS this scarf comes in tons of colors and prints and is under $15. Or go classic in red here.
What’s your favorite way to wear a neck scarf? Have you given this style trick a try? I think I may need to add a few more spring colored ones to my collection for the upcoming season!
