Today is my last day out of town and I’m heading home tonight finally. I can’t wait to get some much needed rest and snuggle time with Pork. Oh and catch up on a ton of laundry of course. I still can’t believe this month of traveling is coming to a close as it’s been one heck of a month full of great memories, never forget experiences and a few extra pounds from all the great food and wine. It’s also been the month of firsts. First missed flight ever (make that TWO missed flights), picking up a stray fellow ACL attendee and driving them the 3 hours from Houston to Austin and so much more.
It’s been fun to say the least. I’m so excited to share with you all the looks from my Paris and Greece trip plus a travel guide for each destination. I’ve also learned a few new things along the way about traveling abroad and think a post all about some tips is in order.
First up from my travels is this 90’s inspired look that I wore in Paris. I felt SO insanely Parisian in this and it was honestly the perfect look to explore the city in. We went to Arc De Triumph, Eiffel Tower, Bir Hakeim and the Jardin du Palais Royale. The Jardin du Palais Royals is seen here where we shot this look. We did all of this and more all in one day while wearing this little tee and dress combo. It was a long day and this comfy look was perfect for cramming all the tourist things in. I tied this jacket around my waist because it did get quite chilly at night. Even in the shade it would be a little cool so it was nice to have a light layer.
PS you’ll also be seeing this bag in EVERY SINGLE outfit because it’s the bomb. I borrowed it from Rent The Runway for NYFW (as you can see here) and loved it so much I decided to buy it (on sale here). The bag also turns into a backpack. It held all my things including my giant DSLR camera. It also still looks brand spankin new after 2 weeks of travel. Impressed is an understatement.
