Do You Like To Wear Hats?

A couple years ago I had a blank wall in my house and didn’t know what to do with it. I decided that until I found some sort of artwork to put there, that I would just hang all my hats there. I’ve collected many of the years from blogging projects and from personal favorites I’ve found. Once I put the hats up I realized that I actually LOVED it. It not only opened up space in my ever so teeny tiny closet, but it was super pretty! You can see how it turned out in this post.

My hat wall has SEVERAL types of hats on it. From fedoras, to straw panama hats and beyond. But there are two, yes just two, hats that I grab all the time. In the summer, it’s this hat or this one, but in the winter, it’s today’s navy wide brim fedora. I got it years ago at a blog event and it was definitely a splurge.

In the summertime, I wear my straw hats SO often. They’re so easy to throw on and complete a look. But I’m not sure why the fall and winter season has me not wearing this hat more often. I just LOVE it. I find myself wearing it mostly for the blog and rarely rewearing the outfit complete with the hat in real life. Also, I know that sounds silly, but it’s true! So today I’m vowing to wear this hat WAY more often. And to get some style ideas for it besides today’s post, I also wore it here which was one of my FAVORITE looks on the blog.
