Summer nights are starting to be a real thing here in Atlanta. And one of my favorite things to do on those kind of evenings is to open a bottle of wine and relax with friends. Adorada is not a new to me wine anymore. I had these delicious perfume inspired wines over the holidays and served them up for a night in with friends over pizza and lots of gossip. But for summer (and finally getting that sunshine on our skin) it’s time for a proper spread with these Adorada wines. Cheese!
I think creating an evening of wine, cheese and bread is one of my favorite things. They’re easy to whip up and if you ask me, makes for a suitable dinner. When Adorada Wines asked me to share the perfect summer night nosh, this was a no brainer pairing. These wines have a great floral note, sweetness and hint of spice with ginger and white pepper. Pairing them with fresh fruit like strawberry (a base note of the rosé) pairs perfectly with goat cheese and crusty french bread.
A few things that are super interesting to me when it comes to Adorada, the word Adorada—meaning “adored” in Spanish—is the quintessential wine for those who appreciate the fine art of being pampered. Sounds about right for me right? These wines, the rosé and pinot gris, have an unexpected floral aromatics and slightly sweet taste. They’re crafted to mimic the floral fragrance you think of when you think feminine perfume. The rosé Plus, who wouldn’t love these beautiful bottles to share on a tabelscape. If you haven’t given these wines a try, I highly recommend it. They’re simply perfect for a warm summer night with friends.
