With Christmas being just a few days away, I know you’re all in holiday mode and need a cocktail, right? I know I do! It helps take the edge off and who doesn’t need a good personality cocktail before heading out to a holiday party? This white chocolate cocktail is it!
My Winter Wonderland holiday cocktail is the perfect drink pre-game a holiday party with. Or if you’re hosting, it makes for a great signature cocktail or it’s great to accompany dessert.
It’s super simple and delicious. Plus, it tastes like dessert, so maybe also have it as a nightcap. No judgment here!
Winter Wonderland Holiday Cocktail
I knew I wanted to make a winter white cocktail when I stumbled onto these adorable Christmas tree drink stirrers at Target. Obviously, they were found in the wonderful world of the $1 Target section.
They were the inspiration behind this drink and I think these turned out perfectly. With just three ingredients, this cocktail is delicious, simple and decadent.
While trying to figure out how to make an all white cocktail, I knew I wanted it to feel white chocolate-y. I headed to the liquor store and grabbed Absolut Vanilla which is full of amazing flavor even by itself, and then Godiva White Chocolate Liquor.
I’ve actually never had this stuff so I was excited to bring it home, crack it open and take a swig of it. Hey, it’s all in the name of recipe testing, right? Well, it was delicious!
Mix all of these together with a touch of white creme de menthe for a minty flavor, plus a good splash of milk (use whatever you like, almond, soy or whatever) and it turned out to be insanely delicious.
If you’re not into minty flavors, just leave out the creme de menthe and it’s just as delicious. Add your own spin to it too by garnishing with a little dusting of cinnamon for extra flavor or adding a coconut flake rim. You can really have fun with this one!
